Porto
Frequently Asked Questions
- Are either of the two hotels in the center of Porto? Both. Both fall within what is considered the center of Porto: the Inca is a short walk from the historic center and the Clérigos Tower; and the Raízes is right on Rua Santa Catarina, between the Bolhão Market and the Ribeira. If you are looking for a central hotel in Porto without having to choose between history and neighborhood life, either one could be the best option.
- How many hotels does Casual Hoteles have in Porto? We have two hotels located in the city: the Casual Inca Porto and the Casual Raízes Porto. Each with a very different concept—one pays tribute to the Inca civilization, the other boasts an unfiltered Porto spirit. However, both share an incredible condition: a privileged location right in the heart of the city's historic center.
- What is each of the hotels we have in Porto like?Casual Inca Porto is a 62-room hotel that brings Inca culture to the heart of the city: themed decor in every room, its own coffee station, and a Cuzco Bar that you can visit in the mid-afternoon. Casual Raízes Porto, with 41 rooms (some with views of its own garden), offers a more intimate and personal experience; with the feeling of staying in a house with a local soul and someone who knows Porto by heart.
- Where is each hotel located? The Casual Inca Porto is located at Praça do Cel. Pacheco 52; just a 5-minute walk from the historic center declared a World Heritage Site. It is close to the São Bento train station and the Trindade metro.
For its part, the Casual Raízes Porto is at Rua de Santa Catarina 615; the most well-known shopping street in the city. It is located next to the historic Café Majestic and a stone's throw from the Bolhão Market. - How do you get to the hotels from Francisco Sá Carneiro airport? The simplest way is the metro. Line E (purple) goes directly from the airport to Trindade in about 25-30 minutes, with departures every 15-20 minutes. From there, both hotels are a short walk away: the Casual Inca Porto is practically in the same area, and to get to the Casual Raízes Porto, you just need to walk to Rua de Santa Catarina. The ticket costs around €2 (plus €0.60 for the Andante card, which is mandatory for using public transport). If you prefer to go directly without transfers, a taxi or rideshare service makes the trip in 20-30 minutes for about €20-30.
