Frequently Asked Questions
- Where is the Casual Ilbira Granada located? The Casual Ilbira is located at Plaza Fortuny, 6; practically in what its own team calls "the ground zero of fun." It is about an 8-minute walk from the Cathedral, with the Albaicín for you to get lost in without having to go far. Of course, you will be able to enjoy the Alhambra as a constant reference on the horizon!
- Is it a good location if I am looking for a centrally located hotel in Granada?Absolutely. Plaza Fortuny can be considered the epicenter where the streets of the city's historic center connect with the Albaicín. Walking to the Cathedral, Gran Vía, or the main tapas areas will only take you a few minutes. If your priority is a hotel in the city center—a location where you don't depend on a car for absolutely anything—this area more than meets all those needs.
- How to get from Federico García Lorca airport to the hotel?Granada does not have a metro or train to the airport, so the most common option is the ALSA bus (line 245): it connects the terminal to the center in about 45 minutes for approximately €3. It has a stop at Gran Vía de Colón - Cathedral, located a short walk from the hotel. If you prefer to go directly and more comfortably, a taxi makes the same journey in about 30 minutes for about €25 - €30.
- Does the Casual Ilbira in Granada have parking? The Casual Ilbira Granada does offer parking. We have spaces available for motorcycles (€10/day) and cars (€20/day). Service is subject to availability upon arrival. To use our parking, the vehicle must be a maximum of 2.10 m wide and 1.98 m high. It is important that you book it in advance to ensure availability, as spaces are limited.
- Can I stay with my pet?Absolutely. The hotel is pet friendly. In fact, we offer our complete pet pack - free of charge if you book through our website - so that your travel companion enjoys their stay at all times. It includes a bed, water bowl, and food bowl. The weight limit is 25 kg, although a call to reception usually fixes it.
